God blessed me with so many wonderful experiences in 2012, can't wait to see what he has in store for us in 2013. Our family was blessed with a beautiful baby girl this year. Kaylin is growing so much everyday. I'm excited to bring on the new year. But also very nervous. Only 4 more months till Kaylin's surgery. I know deep down, she will be just fine. Afterall, she is a patient with some of the best pediatric surgeons. But sometimes I can't help to worry alittle. One of my good friends at work, got me to start watching Joyce Meyers. The first sermon of hers I watched was amazing. It was just what I needed to hear. She was talking about "Faith", and how we have faith everyday in our lives and just don't realize it.. For instance she said as a example.. she had a chair and sat in it.. "you have faith the chair is going to hold you weight.. and you trust it will." I need to have faith in God that he will take care of our little girl, and stop worrying about it so much. He will help my husband and I make the right choices for Kaylin. Our sweet Kaylin was born with Fibular Hemimelia in both legs. In her right leg she is missing her fibula bone, foot/toe bones, and has a bowed tiba. Her left leg is missing foot/toe bones, and the rest is unknown until she grows. The purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends updated, and allow you to follow this journey with us!
